How I’ll Be Spending My Weekend

I’ve never been to Essex Seafood (top left), but pretty much everything Boston Globe writer Devra First writes is spot on. I’ll probably be hitting Farnham’s for the unbeatable food/view/Ipswich Ale (on tap!) combo and Woodman’s if I want to get a lobster and a Budweiser. Not sure if I feel like standing hungry in line for an hour, having Ipswich’s famously voracious mosquitoes feeding on me, else I’d also go to the Clam Box.

  • I had been to Woodman's once. I was recently describing that place to my mother (after forgetting its name) as a place where one could get boiled lobster cheaper than we can get live ones in stores farther east.

    Seeing this blog entry reminded me of the name Woodman's again.
