Though kebab is a foreign dish, I don't think that it should be removed off the Italian menu. Even though I am half Italian, me and my family enjoys it just the same.

Italian cuisine as we know it today incorporated influences from all across the world, including spices from Asia and produce from the Americas. In the interest of authenticity, perhaps Mr. Zaia should encourage the Roman diet that persisted in Italy until it was transmogrified by new 16th century imports.

This actually manages to surpass the level of absurdity attained last year by the Los Angeles City Council when they banned fast food restaurants in poor areas in an act of breathtakingly arrogant and racist paternalism. I honestly never thought ANYONE, ANYWHERE would top that. I'm impressed.
